This is the first draft of our thriller film trailer. We have been given some good feedback from other pupils and teachers however, we have also had criticisms to ensure that our next draft and final trailer is the best is can possibly be. These criticisms are:
- Re-film the first scene (Stacey and Zac laughing together). This is to include a wider variety of shots such as close ups and extreme close ups. This will emphasis the drama and create a sense of uncertainty.
- Make the titles throughout our trailer more dramatic. For example to make the titles move slightly. These are common conventions in thriller trailers and appear in the films The Perfect Guy and Unforgettable. This will help keep up with the fast paced editing; which is another convention in thriller films.
- Make some shots slightly blurred. This connotes mystery and confusion for the audience which also is how Stacey is feeling. This makes the audiences feel like they can relate to the trailer which will make them want to watch the entire film.
